Dublin date for Dennis Lehane

Dennis Lehane, who is currently working on a US remake of Love/Hate, will be talking about the show in Dublin this May. The Irish-American writer is penning the adaptation - this time with an Hawaii setting - for Showtime.

Lehane will be in conversation with writer and playwright Declan Hughes at the Irish Writers Centre in Dublin on 28 May at 7.30pm.

They will also talk about Lehane's novels Mystic River, Gone Baby Gone, Darkness Take My Hand and Shutter Island, many of which have been adapted for cinema.

Lehane is currently on a world tour to promote his latest thriller, World Gone By. It's "a psychologically and morally complex novel of blood, crime, passion, and vengeance, set in Cuba and Florida during World War II, in which Joe Coughlin must confront the cost of his criminal past and present".
